My folks have a home on Lake Christina.
My mother loves living on the lake, and my dad loves to fish.
When he's working at his desk, he keeps an eye on the lake.
Should the fish start jumping, he grabs his rod and runs out to the pier.
Mom happily cooks any fish that he catches, provided that he cleans it himself.
Their living room has a pair of windows in the corner, ideal for looking out at the lake.
The dining room is between the kitchen and the living room.
There are master and guest bedrooms as well as a screened porch.
During my stay, we visited the Shriners Hospital in Tampa.
The hospital treats children up to the age of 18 with orthopedic problems.
It is funded in full by donations. There is no charge to any patient or third party payer.
Ninety-five percent of the money goes toward patient care, and the principal is never used.
The music on this page is Rock of Ages by Thomas Hastings.
It has long been a favorite hymn of my father's.
