Ruth and John's Home
St. Augustine, Florida

Ruth and John have a home near the Atlantic Ocean in a quiet neighborhood.

In the foyer hangs a painting that Johnny did a few years ago. The table he used for the painting is one that my parents had on the porch at the Bodkin Creek. John is quite talented with his painting.

On a table below the painting is a set of nativity figures that Ruth made. She is still very interested in ceramics, but it wasn't until she started doing them that I realized that she was so artistic. Some of her pieces are really quite lovely.

The kitchen is between the dining room and a second dining area off of the living room. The porch looks out over the Atlantic.

There are three other rooms on the living level - the master bedroom, the guest room (which I managed to clutter up), and a sewing room, which doubles as a computer room for Ruth.

On the lower level are the double-car garage, an office for John (which doubles as a bedroom for grandkids), a large recreation room (complete with large television and sleep-sofa), and two large storage areas.

The music on this page is Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel. I chose this because of the bridges crossed to get to Ruth's home, and because I simply like it.
